Punjab Govt Starts Registration for Electric and Petrol Bikes for Students.

Female Students will have Special Subsidy on the initiative taken by CM Mariam Nawaz. Punjab Govt. has started a registration drive for the provision of 20000 Electric and Petrol Bikes for Universitiy and College Students. across Punjab on Interest Free Easy Monthly Installments. In first phase 19000 Petrol and 1000 Electric Bikes will be provided under the project. The Provincial Govt. will pay Rs. 1 Billion markup subsidy. moreover, under special orders issued by CM, Mariam Nawaz , down payment of Rs. 20000 will be paid by the Punjab Government, according to hand out issued by on Friday. Male Students will have to deposit 11676 Rs. as monthly installment while the Female Students will get special subsidy , only have to pay Rs. 7325 per month. in first phase, Bikes will be given in Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad, it is notable the all districts will be issued bikes according to the proportion of their population. The Last date of First Phase Application is 29th April 2024.
