Chinese first Methanol fuel bunkering vessel provides Eco Friendly Methanol. The Port of Shanghai completed China's first Methanol ship-to-ship hunkering operation , sightseeing as Green initiative by Asian Country. The terminal vessel, Haigang Zhiyuan, provides 504 tonnes of Eco-Friendly methanol to the Astrid Maersk, a state of the Art methanol powered container vessel at Yangshan Sea Port , Part of the Port of Shanghai. Also this groundbreaking operation represented the first Methanol hunkering for a large container vessel in China and Asian Continent. "The total annual carbon Dioxide emissions of the global logistics industry comprises of 3.5 billion tons, which is roughly 4% of the Global Shipping industry" said Jens Eskelund, North Asia Chief Representative of Maersk at the Clean Energy Forum of China International Supply Chain Expo. He Said that they choose green methanol as a short and medium term solution , amid help the decarbonization goals. Chief Representative was convinced that China has become the World's leading Green Energy supplier with it's plentiful resources and unique production Capacit. He told the Media that the total annual Carbon Dioxide emissions of the global logistics industry is 3.5 tons, which is 4 percent of the Global production. "We choose green methanol as a short term solution which can take us to reduce the risks of Global Warming." For a long time, the Shipping Magnate has attached great importance to working with China companies, to carry out the goal of net Zero greenhouse Emissions till 2040. Especially the International Shipment Industry pours out 1.076 billion tons of Carbon Dioxide every year , visibly the use of Green Fuels is the most indispensable measure for decarbonizing the entire Industry with Hydrogen Fuel , getting popularity as one of the most promising Clean Energy Fuels for Cargo and Passenger Ships
