PM conveys Eid greetings to Gulf Nations and Islamic Ummah.

Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday held telephone conversations with rulers of the Gulf Countries and renowned Islamic Rulers to extend warm greetings and best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Adha.
Shahbaz Sharif expressed his heartiest wishes to the Sultan of Oman, Amir of Qatar, President of Turkey and United Arab Emirates. He exchanged regards to the governments, and the people of the country, and prayed for their well-being, prosperity, and happiness of Muslim Ummah.
Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Ruler of Sultanate of Oman, reciprocated the greetings and best wishes, and expressed his appreciation for the prime minister’s thoughtful gesture.
On this auspicious occasion, both leaders also prayed for peace and unity among the ranks of the Muslim Ummah, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.
The prime minister, on X account, said that it was a pleasure to speak with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman on the blessed occasion of Eid Ul Adha. “While exchanging Eid greetings, we reaffirmed the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between our two nations as well as our common desire to promote peace, progress and prosperity within the Muslim Ummah and in the broader region,” he added in the post.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday held a telephonic conversation with Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Adha.
The prime minister extended warm greetings and best wishes to the Amir, the government, and the brotherly people of Qatar on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.
The two leaders exchanged views on the importance of Eid ul Adha, which symbolizes sacrifice, compassion, and unity.
“At this joyous moment, both leaders also spoke about the plight of the brave and innocent people of Palestine and urged the international community to redouble peace efforts and ensure an immediate end to violence and bloodshed in the region,” it was further added
He also conveyed the Heartiest Eid blessings to Turkish President Rajab Tayyeb Erdogan and wished him, Govt. and People of the brotherly Nation on Eid-Ul-Adha.
